The Peterborough Advertiser 1930-1935
I have collected Coates news for the years 1930-1932 which is not terribly exciting! I plan to return to the library to finish the decade in 2017. I am keen to go as far as WW2 and expect to stop after that. I do not think I will find much to do with my own family in the news now (although the death of Eliza Ashworth is reported in March 1932) because William Ashworth had died and James Thomas Ashworth was living in Stanground. However, as this is a One Place Study it seems right to plough on.
I have used abbreviation such as WI for Womens' Institite, MU for Mothers' Union.
