In August 2018 I spent some time in Peterborough Library and continued where I had left off last year. By 11th August I had done up to 1945. However, I do need to review the war years because there were casualty pages in the centre of the PA whereas Coates news is later in each issue.

There was an inquest into the death of Roy Kisby (13) who died after falling from a lorry. He was the son of John Kisby, sub-postmaster at Coates. He had been working as a driver's mate during the holidays.
