I am on holiday and work on WW1 servicemen is going quite well. I had a day in Peterborough Library on Saturday and I think I shall go tomorrow too. I am certainly there on Thursday (I need to get in some visits as the library is shut next week for refurbishment)

I sometimes think (well, I know!) that I am trying to do too many things. I have put off the analysis of the 1911 census (and others I have not done) because I am busy going through local newspapers in Peterborough library. Also this year I want to add some details of Coates men who served in WW1. Watch this space. I cannot write too much here as the text may vanish! I have asked Weebly about it.
I started the day wanting to upload my analysis of the 1881 census. I had to sort out some problems with the area covered (and find two people I had missed out completely) so I have not - at 1603pm done or uploaded any analysis. Still, I am happy that I have confirmed for myself that I am only looking at the village of Coates itself even though Turves and Eastrea could fall into the study. I do included Wype Doles, Oldeamere and Eldernell.
